Alert
The NmG is equipped with a drive/charge interlock. This is a relay that disables the NmG's start circuit while the car is on charge. The drive/charge interlock prevents driving the car away while the cord is plugged in.
Step 1
WARNING: Do not plug your NmG into a 220-volt outlet if it has a 110-volt charger. The charger can be damaged.
Recharge your NmG by parking your vehicle within 10 feet of a 110-volt or 220-volt electrical outlet, whichever corresponds to the voltage that is stated on the battery charger nameplate.

Step 2
The charging receptacle on the NmG is located on the right side of the vehicle, in front of the door and above the fender.

It looks like an ordinary gas cap

Open the charging receptacle by pushing on the right edge of the access cover to the receptacle.
Step 3
Align the charging cord connector pins with the corresponding receptacle pins.
Step 4
When properly aligned, push in on the connector and turn counterclockwise until the connector locks into the receptacle.
Step 5
Plug the other end of the charging cord into a grounded 3 prong receptacle.
NOTE:Check your NmG 30 minutes after plugging into the electrical outlet to ensure that it is still charging and that the circuit has not tripped.
