The air filter, located inside the hatch area on the right side of the vehicle, filters air for the NmG's electrical controller. It should be periodically checked and replaced to maintain the controller's air flow and quality.

Step 1

To gain access to the filter, open the rear hatch by depressing the black hatch button.

Step 2

The filter is held in place by a retaining bracket. Remove the bracket by removing the two screws with a #2 philips head screwdriver.

Step 3

Pull the bracket and filter away from the NmG frame. Inspect and clean or replace the filter as necessary.
