System Components

The NmG Charging System is a sensitive electrical configuration comprising the following components:

  • Batteries
  • Brush Motor
  • Charger
  • Controller
Batteries
Your NmG has thirteen 12-volt batteries wired in series to create a 156-volt nominal system. This is known as the NmG's battery pack.

Six of the batteries are located under your hood.

The remaining seven batteries are located under the driver's seat. Despite the physical separation, the batteries are electrically connected.

Brush Motor
The brush motor converts the electricity provided by the Battery Pack into mechanical energy and propels the vehicle. The motor is located in the lower center of the NmG's chassis (indicated by black arrow in photo to the left).

Charger
The Charger is a large black box that sits on top of the batteries under the hood.

Controller
The Controller is located behind the right rear access panel. The controller regulates current from the battery pack to the brush motor.
